1. Who We Are

PREPT AI is operated by Solis Equity Holdings LLC, based in San Antonio, Texas. We provide AI-powered career tools including a real-time interview coach (PREPT AI Live) and an ATS resume optimizer (PREPT AI Match). You can reach us at support@preptai.co or by phone at (855) 477-3780.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

• Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account via email or Google OAuth.
• Billing information: Payment is processed by Stripe. PREPT AI never sees or stores your credit card number. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance.
• Contact form submissions: Name, email, phone, and message content when you contact us through our contact page.
• Product inputs: Resume text, job descriptions, role titles, company names, and sector selections you enter to use our tools.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: Session counts, feature usage, and subscription status stored in our Supabase database to enforce plan limits and track your progress dashboard.
• Filler word counts and session scores: Aggregated numeric data from coaching sessions (e.g., total filler words: 4, score: 82) stored for your progress tracking. Raw transcripts are not stored.
• Device and browser information: Standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Used for security and debugging only.

What we explicitly do NOT collect or store

• Interview question transcripts or your spoken answers
• Audio recordings of any kind
• Resume content beyond your active session
• Job description text beyond your active session
• AI-generated coaching responses beyond your active session
• Screen recordings or screenshots

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the PREPT AI service
• To enforce subscription plan limits (Free, Pro, Career+)
• To display your progress dashboard (session count, scores, filler word trends)
• To send transactional emails including receipts, account confirmations, and limit notifications via Resend
• To respond to support requests
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• To improve our AI coaching models using aggregated, anonymized performance data only , never your personal content

4. Microphone Access

PREPT AI Live requests access to your device microphone to power real-time speech recognition. This access is used solely to transcribe speech locally through your browser's Web Speech API (Chrome/Edge). Audio data is processed locally by your browser and is not transmitted to PREPT AI servers. You can revoke microphone access at any time through your browser settings.

5. Phone Companion Mode and Stealth Features

PREPT AI's Phone Companion Mode is designed to run on a physical device separate from your interview screen. No data about the device using PREPT AI is transmitted to interviewers, employers, or any third party. PREPT AI does not share session data with any employer, recruiting platform, or background check provider under any circumstances.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Our database and authentication provider. Stores your account data and session metrics. Data is hosted in the United States.
• Stripe: Payment processing. Handles all billing under their own privacy policy.
• Anthropic (Claude API): Your prompts (role, sector, question text) are sent to Anthropic's API to generate coaching responses. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models per their API usage policy.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to deliver emails you request or that are required for account management.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and session metrics for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (such as billing records, which are retained for 7 years for tax purposes).

Session content (resume text, interview questions, coaching answers) is never persisted beyond the active session and cannot be recovered after the session ends.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

9. Cookies

PREPT AI uses minimal cookies. We use localStorage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember your light/dark mode preference and onboarding status. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking of any kind.

10. Children's Privacy

PREPT AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

11. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including 256-bit SSL encryption for all data in transit, secure authentication via Supabase, and access controls limiting who can access user data internally. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use of PREPT AI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
